WIN Offers Free Medical Services To Police Community

A Non governmental organisation, “When In Need” (WIN) foundation has offered free medical services to residents of police barracks, Garki II, Abuja.

The medical outreach featured lecture, consultation, checkup and provision of drugs, and food stuffs.

The President/ Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Dr. Chetachi Ecton said reaching out to the residents of police barracks, Garki II was part of the group’s way of offering assistance to the society.

“This is part of the WIN foundation, which includes street-to-street lectures, visitation to prison and orphanage, health caravan and community service,” she said.

She further noted that spiritual health is lacking among some Nigerians, and urged Nigerians to keep purifying their souls with the teachings of both Bible and Koran.
She said a sound body is also needed to complement a sound mind to perfect act of worship, which requires physical fitness.
