RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL IMOLITES AS THE BEST GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE AMONG ALL
The Imo State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has declared their total support to the governorship ambition of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu. The group, made this known during a ceremony marking the celebration of the 40th year anniversary of the Association, which held in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Nwosu who is the undisputed winner of the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, but was robbed of his mandate by some notorious 419ers in connivance with an imperiaistic cabal, was a special guest at the occasion and was decorated by the organization with an award for his positive interventions towards ensuring an improved welfare for Imo workers. The union was particularly grateful to the former Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government for his intervention which led to the restoration of more than 3000 workers, originally sacked for sundry offenses.
Receiving the award as a bridge builder between the Government and workers, the youthful governorship candidate thanked the LGA workers for their show of love and assured them of his continuous support and friendliness to civil servants.
"I promise never to take your love for me for granted. I will never let you down. The role of civil servants in driving the engine of governance cannot be overemphasized and I will ensure that the cordial relationship between the Rescue Mission administration and civil servants is not only sustained, but also improved upon."
The endorsement of this critical group to a governorship candidate is very strategic as the group can boast of direct and indirect control of nothing less than 100,000 votes.
