IMSU Female Student Stabs Boyfriend
A female Student from Imo State University, Owerri has allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death, and then took poison and died.
The ugly scenario took place today around evening time at Joe Tony Hostel, located at IMSU back gate.
REASON FOR THE ACT
Our news correspondent gathered that the duo have been in relationship for a while until there is a need for a breakup. Upon breakup, the boyfriend, who have bought many expensive and enticing stuffs for the girlfriend, decided to bounce back to retrieve all he has offered the girlfriend at Joe Tony Hostel, IMSU back gate.
But, unfortunately to him, the girlfriend refuses to play
Because of the huge and miserable consequences that will pop up for stabbing the boyfriend, she took a quick and the most drastic decision in her life; she drank poison and died.
AFTERMATH OF THE EVENT
On seeing what have happened, the neighbors and other students around rushed the duo to Federal Medical Center (FMC), located beside Alvan Ikoku Federal college of Education, Owerri.
On getting to the hospital, the girl’s case was tested to be critical and shortly after their arrival, she was announced dead. The boyfriend who was placed on Oxygen support sobbed bitterly.
ABOUT THE YOUNG LAD
The Girlfriend who is now dead was identified as Agomuo Jennifer.
She is currently a final year student of Computer Science and she lives in Jeo Tony Hostel located at the back gate region of Imo State University, Owerri.
The Boyfriend was reported to be an Engineering student from the same University.
In an exchange of hate words and blows, the duo stabbed themselves.
When the guy’s case became critical, the girlfriend decided to take poison in order to cut the whole drama short and to escape from the punishment forever.
This should be a lesson to many other IMSU Students, and Students all over the country at large.
