- DEAN STUDENT AFFAIRS STILL EMPHASIZE ON THE USE OF ELECTIONIC VOTING FOR SUG ELECTIONS - ANTICIPATE IMSU STAR SHUTTLE SAYS PROF. MARTINS UCHENNA - ANTICIPATE ARMED SECURITY PERSONNEL IN ALL ALLIANCES DEAN DECLARES - BISHOP'S COURT, ALADIMMA ELECTIONS IS HERE BY CANCELLED DEAN STUDENT AFFAIRS PRONOUNCES

In the quest  of getting it right and bringing transformation to the students of Imo State University, our digital Dean student affair prof. Martin Uchenna . Had a meeting with all the alliance presidents and care takers of different alliances today being 16th - November - 2018

In the cause of the dialogue the Dean Student affair reaffirm the use of Electronic voting for SUG Election, in his words its high time we start doing things Right, SUG elections must be free fair and transparent with out interests and godfather imposing leaders on his student...

The Dean also threw more light on his words as regards inviting the police to become the watch dog in the different alliance, this he said will help stop the various cult activities and  in legalities happening in the different alliances which are not supposed to be attribute of a good student he assures imo start the things will get better, and there will be a new dawn in the alliances because the security personnel will commence work immediately.

Finally he talked about the happening in the alliances with much references to the inconclusive election in Bishop's Court and aladinma alliance, stressing that he has received series of complains ranging from misconduct, to godfather invasions, treat of different kind and lots more
He expressed his dismay towards all of this happening and further stretched that for this not to continue he here by CANCEL THE ELECTION THE HAS BEEN CONDUCTED IN THE AFFECTED ALLIANCES
He went further to warn all the presidential  aspirant for these alliances to embrace peace and not do anything to jeopardize their good name, hence the consequences will be grievous.
In the spirit of sportsmanship he asked the aspirants to work hand in glove and not forget their primary aim of coming to the university

In the long run of the conversation, the Dean also disclosed that sooner than later there will be a police post stationed in front of the school main gate, this he said will help  fosters safety and tackle the security challenge of the student within the school premises, and to also, make sure academic activities is carried out with any distraction.
